I’ve been called a wild child, an alchemist, and a light chaser. Since I first picked up a camera in the late nineties, I’ve been searching for the next photo adventure. My love for photography is rooted in a deep curiosity about what it means to be human. I love meeting new people and hearing colorful life stories.
I was born and raised in Finland, but I’ve lived in four other countries (some more than once) and in over twenty-five cities. Wherever I’ve gone, photography has always been a trusted, steady companion.
In the past decade, I ran a successful headshot and portrait studio in Asheville, NC, USA. My clients came from all walks of life — CEOs, banks, hospitals, artists, writers, musicians, and everything in between.
In 2024, Hurricane Helene destroyed most of the area I was based in, and after losing my home and studio, I set out into the world in a quest to find a new homeland. This journey took me around the Mediterranean and finally to Sardinia, Italy, where I have been based since.
When I am not working on photo assignments, you can find me exploring ancient ruins, trying to learn Italian, or playing music.
I am available for portrait assignments all over the world. Licensed to work in both U.S and Europe.
Biografia
🇮🇹 Sono una fotografa di ritratti finlandese autodidatta, oggi residente ad Alghero, in Sardegna. Per 25 anni ho vissuto e lavorato tra Stati Uniti e Messico, dove ho gestito per 11 anni il mio studio fotografico professionale in North Carolina. Ho abitato in quattro paesi e in oltre venticinque città, e in ogni tappa del viaggio la fotografia è sempre rimasta con me, attraversando cambiamenti profondi e avventure che mi hanno aperto il cuore.
Ora vivo in Sardegna e sono disponibile per incarichi in tutta l’isola e nel resto d’Italia.
Per me la ritrattistica è un modo di raccontare la tua storia. Qualunque sia la fase della vita che stai attraversando, desidero cogliere qualcosa che sia autentico e significativo, in quell’istante irripetibile. La mia passione nasce da una profonda curiosità per il processo umano: è un onore aver potuto testimoniare, attraverso la mia macchina fotografica, tanti percorsi e trasformazioni di vita.
